Project objectives:

The objective of the grant is to support the Institute of Statistics of the Republic of Albania (INSTAT) in preparing a new long-term Strategy for the Development of National Statistical System for 2020-2030 (SDNSS), preparing supplemental mid-term action plans, and conduct capacity building activities for INSTAT staff to support the implementation of these action plans.

The Strategy for the development of the National Statistical System (SDNSS) covering 2020-2030
Three costed out activities within the mid-term action plans (for 2020-2023) with timetables for (a) institutional development of the country’s statistical system; (b) and capacity building and training needs
Increased capacity of key INSTAT staff in implementation of specific action plans (, project development, establishing coordination mechanisms with data users and producers)
