On 02 - 03 February 2021, INSTAT organized meetings with representatives of Municipalities on the commitment of municipal structures in the process of developing Census activities. The meetings were chaired by Mrs. Elsa Dhuli, General Director of INSTAT. Participants in the meeting were Mayors, Deputy Mayors and representatives of Municipalities as well as representatives of INSTAT. The meetings were informative, focused on the importance of the Census and the role of Census Commissions at the municipal level.

The representatives were more closely introduced with the obligations and responsibilities set out in the Regulation on the functioning of Census Commissions at the Municipal Level, approved by INSTAT, according to Law No. 140/ 2020 for Census of Population and Households.
