Children aged 0-17 years at risk of poverty, compared to the total population at risk of poverty (%)
The percentage of children at risk of being poor (relative poverty) to the total population who are at risk of being poor is calculated as a ratio of the number of individuals 0-17 years old who are below the relative poverty line to the total number of persons who are below the relative poverty line. According to the methodology for measuring poverty, the risk limit for being poor is calculated on the basis of the relative concept (poor in relation to others) and is determined at 60% of the median of available family income equivalent using the modified equivalent scale of the OECD.
