The length of the road network in use during the first quarter of 2025, is 3,606* km referring to different categories, such as motorway, interurban or urban and local roads.

The total number of road vehicles, for the first quarter of 2025, with the status of "active" and "temporarily deregistered”, in the territory of the Republic of Albania until March is 976,916 vehicles.

In the category of road vehicles by type, the largest percentage of the total number of road vehicles is occupied by "Passenger cars" (80.8 %),"Mixed transport vehicles" (6.0 %) and "Motor vehicles"
(5.8 %).
