In the second quarter of 2025, the number of vehicles in circulation in the territory of Albania was 1,002,582. Among them, passenger cars make up 80.8 % of the total vehicles, followed by mixed transport vehicles and motorcycles with 5.9 % each.

Tirana holds the largest share with 34.8 % of the total vehicles, followed by Durrës with 13.6 %. Meanwhile, Gjirokastra and Kukës have the lowest number of vehicles, with 2.1 % and 2.4 %, respectively.

During this quarter, 26,976 vehicles were registered for the second time, of which 80.9 % were passenger cars. Again, the district of Tirana leads with 44.2 % of the new registrations.
